Sam draws back the curtain to find our what makes All-Star athletes and high powered entrepreneurs so successful.
Sam was drafted in the first round by the Boston Red Sox in 1982 and played professionally for the Red Sox, Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Indians, and Texas Rangers. After retiring from baseball, Sam worked as a sports analyst for the Boston Red Sox on NESN during the pre and post game show. Horn also owned and operated Around the Horn Sports Center in Rhode Island where he taught and designed a curriculum to help young kids hone in on their athletic skills. Sam has donated his time to many causes such as, The American Heart Association, Safe At Home (an after school program for kids), and other charities that benefit the community. Sam’s personal mission in life is to “build an individual’s confidence in their abilities, teach them to recognize and minimize their weaknesses, while helping them get the maximum results out of his or her potential”..
What is Your Pre-Game’s operations team is led by Chief Operating Officer, Victoria Conte. Ms. Conte has over 20 years of experience both running her own Media Representative and Marketing Company, The Victoria Group Marketing, Inc., as well as held positions within other organizations filling the same role.
She currently holds the position of COO for MatchPoint, an International Network of Franchise Business Consultants. The solid foundation of operations support systems and teams she has developed and executed upon has produced proven results for the companies she represents.
In addition, Ms. Conte’s experience uniquely positions her as an expert in Franchising, and has appeared as a spokesperson for the industry. She has appeared on television networks such as the Lifetime Channel and CNBC, as well as in publications like USA TODAY and Success Magazine.
